The Nosto Spotlight: Meet Isabel Bográn, Business Development Manager (International)

In this edition of the Nosto team spotlight, get to know Isabel Bográn, Business Development Manager (International). Learn how she expertly merges two languages into one, the most rewarding part about working with ecommerce retailers around the world, and one of the culture quirks that drew her to becoming part of the Nosto family.

Q: Which languages can you speak?

Isabel: I went to a bilingual school so I am fluent in Spanish and English. Sometimes I forget a Spanish word but remember the English one, so, yo hablo Spanglish (that’s “I speak Spanglish” for the non-Spanglish speakers). I learned French in university and have picked up a little German while living in Berlin – only good enough to order ein bier, bitte (“a beer, please”).

Q: What’s your favourite part of your working day?

Isabel: I am virtually meeting ecommerce retailers from all over the world everyday to learn about their business, strategic plans and growth objectives and seeing how Nosto can align to support.

One of the most rewarding aspects in my work is talking with a customer after they’ve implemented the Nosto plan I proposed, and hearing they’ve experienced positive results.

Since going fully remote from the start of the pandemic, my colleagues have become a great source of support. I also look forward to joining fun initiatives that have grown from my team to stay connected and engage with each other.

Q: How long have you been working at Nosto? What attracted you to the company?

Isabel: When I was learning about the company, the culture really stood out (like did you know Nosto made an AI-powered beer? Our AI detected the brew that would suit all our tastes based on the most consumed beer brands and flavors offered in our offices around the world!)

I have been working at Nosto for a little over a year now and I can vouch for its connected culture and that we live out our core values.

Q: What is your most used emoji?

Isabel: Me in the wild????
